Actor Burt Ward, famous for playing ‘Robin’ in the Batman TV series, and his wife Tracy have opened a rescue shelter in California for giant breed dogs.

Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions have up for adoption gentle giants, such as Great Danes, Borzoi, Irish Wolfhounds, Saint Bernards, Greyhounds and Newfoundlands, as well as ‘Little Giant’ breeds, including Whippets, Shelties, Chinese Crested dogs and other friendly canines.
